New Physical Activity Guidelines


New guidance has been released from the Chief Medical Officers in the UK on the amount and type of physical activity people of all ages and abilities should be doing to improve their health.

This can help for your MECC conversations:

ASK:         How do you feel about your current levels of physical activity?

ADVISE:    Did you know that it’s never too late to start being active and every minute of   activity counts towards better health

ACT:         You could ask your GP or Practice Nurse about whether you are eligible for National Exercise Referral Scheme, or you could visit your local leisure centre to see if they have any activities you might be interested in.
