Healthy Eating - Adult weight management service
This offers a range of options provided by a multi-disciplinary team. Pregnant women or parents with a child under 4 years old may be eligible for Healthy Start food vouchers and vitamins. Food vouchers can be used to buy milk, fruit and vegetables. For individuals who are obese (a BMI of 30 or more) and who have already tried to lose weight. All pregnant and breastfeeding women in Gwent can get free Healthy Start vitamins from their midwife. For queries contact: 01633 431719

Smoking - Help Me Quit
Help Me Quit is the single point of contact for smokers who want to stop smoking in Wales. The Help Me Quit contact centre team will process all self-referrals from smokers and e-referrals from professions. A member of the team will discuss with the smoker the NHS stop smoking support available in their local area and book an appointment or refer the smoker to the service they would like to attend.
