Level 1: Making Every Contact Count (MECC) Generic e-learning module available in English and Welsh. MECC Level 1 e-learning offers practical advice on how to carry out opportunistic chats, with case studies and videos, signposting information to other services and encourage people to make positive steps towards making a lifestyle change.
Having Healthy Weight Conversations Level 1 & 2 in English and Welsh are now available. These modules focus on having compassionate healthy weight conversations using case studies and videos. These modules offer practical advice and resources for real life conversations.
Make Every Contact Count (MECC) Level 2 E-Learning Module
Public Health Wales is proud to launch the MECC Level 2 Generic E-Learning module, an interactive training course designed to help you turn everyday conversations into opportunities for positive behaviour change. This course is designed to build on existing knowledge from MECC Level 1, helping you to explore behaviour change in greater depth.
Alcohol Brief Intervention (ABI) Level 2 has just launched and is available in English and Welsh. This MECC module will develop your skills, knowledge and confidence in delivering an Alcohol Brief Intervention (ABI) which is a short, structured conversation aimed at supporting and encouraging individuals to make positive changes to their health and wellbeing by reducing the alcohol they drink.
